We are currently living in the world made of screen: mobile phones, laptops etc. During the final season at NYU ITP, we noticed that everyone is working everyday with the computer all the time.(It is also very interesting to record people’s facial experience using the webcam and see how computer sees us. ) We have a feeling of being trapped by the screens and that’s why we want to convey this feeling, make people more aware of it and encourage people to explore the world outside the screen Hopefully after final.

Process:

1. We chose the patterns that can be used to scan.

2. We screen-recorded 15 laptop screens and mobile screens & record our classmate’s facial experience by webcam when they are using computers. (They surprisingly found out how poker-faced they are and barely move while using laptops.)

3. We used Unity and Vuforia for AR and build our own app.
